Notes A poem which invokes the permanence of Federico Garcia Lorca's existence and legacy, in contrast with that of his brutal killers, who remain in 'Limbo of the fools'. Lorca was killed during Spanish Civil War by Nationalist forces. In the poem, the speaker directly addresses Lorca, promising that his legacy has remained, and that he is not 'dead' in a true sense - his music remains alive.
