| Paratext Text | Francis Ledwidge, Gallipoli - 2011 |
| Notes | During a trip to Gallipoli, the speaker of the poem reads over the work of Francis Ledwidge, in a sort of commemoration. Ledwidge was an Irish soldier who fought and died in World War I. The speaker of the poem notes the differences between their two Gallipolis - his one of peace and beauty, Ledwidge's one of despair and suffering. |
