| Paratext Text | Is mór an trua nach winkle pickers a bhí chun do láimhe in áit na mocaisíní.. 9 Féach 'An Chéad Bhród agus an Dara Bróg' leis an údar seo, Eineachlann Iosraelach, lch. 32, Coiscéim 2013 |
| Notes | This short poem refers the infamous incident during the Iraq War in 2008: President George W. Bush was assaulted by journalist, Muntadhar al-Zaidi, who removed his shoes and threw them at Bush during a press conference in Iraq. Since shoes are considered unclean in Iraqi culture, the gesture was meant as one of disrespect to Bush. |
