Paratext Text Bású Benjamin Moloise, file, san Aifric Theas, i bhFómhar na bliana 1985, ba chúis leis an bpíosa seo. Fómhar 1985
Notes The poem laments the death of poet Benjamin Moloise, who was killed by the South African state for the alleged murder of a policeman. The ANC claimed responsibility for the deaths, yet Moloise was still executed, despite international pleas for clemency. On his execution worldwide protests broke out. The speaker of the poem describes a march held for Moloise in Kilkenny, one of many around the world that were organised in the wake of Moloise's killing.
