| Paratext Text | Bású Benjamin Moloise, file, san Aifric Theas, i bhFómhar na bliana 1985, ba chúis leis an bpíosa seo. Fómhar 1985 |
| Notes | The poem laments the death of poet Benjamin Moloise, who was killed by the South African state for the alleged murder of a policeman. The ANC claimed responsibility for the deaths, yet Moloise was still executed, despite international pleas for clemency. On his execution worldwide protests broke out. The speaker of the poem describes a march held for Moloise in Kilkenny, one of many around the world that were organised in the wake of Moloise's killing. |
