Paratext Text Ar thitim Shrebrenica, 11ú Iuil 1995
Notes Written in response to massacre in Srebrenica, July 1995, in which more than 8,000 Bosniak Muslim men and boys were killed. This genocide took place during the Bosnian War. The poem also refers briefly to sectarianism, and implicitly to the 'Troubles' in Northern Ireland. There are many references to Irish folklore in the poem.
